Hotel Kärntnerhof, Austria, is located in the picturesque village center of Mallnitz in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia. We pride ourselves in the unique style of the hotel. The 28-room hotel is filled with artwork from International Artists who have contributed with their work to the unique ambiance of our cozy Hotel.
During winter, Mallnitz becomes the center of winter magic and winter sports. During summer, the mountains become a colorful Shangrilla surrounded by lakes and a fortress. Our guests enjoy staying in our hotel all year round. Our hotel is open ten months per year. Successful candidate will be expected to work during these months.
We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Full Time Front Desk Receptionist.
Responsibilities:
• First point of contact for our guests
• Managing bookings
• Answering guest queries
• Reception activities
• Assistance with continental (cold) breakfast service
• Research work for new business
• Supervision of the ongoing booking management
• Checking guests in and out, processing payments
• Good knowledge of the hotel facilities and services we offer
• Maximizing revenue through up-selling and room sales
• Administration and Technology savvy
• Available to work when the team and guests need you.
