Field Service Technician (m/f)
Karlovac

Role covers mechanical work on industrial installations and at electricity, thermal and nuclear production plants. The items of equipment involved are turbogenerators and their accessory equipment, pumps and compressors.

Role responsibilities:

Realisation of assembly, maintenance, and repair work
Adjustment and inspection of installation plans
Adjustment of bearings and bushings
Fitting, adjustment and inspection of sealing
Adjustment of diaphragms
Detection of anomalies
Opening, disassembly, and re-assembly of internal and external housing
Adjustment and positioning of rotors
Adjustment of steam components
Assembly, adjustment and inspection of accessory equipment
Realisation and checking of alignment of rotors and closure of couplings
Assembly and adjustment of mechanical and electric turning gears
Disassembly, inspection, and re-assembly of inlet valves
Ensuring application of technical recommendations, according to instructions from team leaders
Applying and following quality organisation recommendations
Being aware of and applying all instructions and procedures applicable to the activity
Complying with and following the safety and environmental instructions for your workplace or (in case of travel) wherever you are working

Main requirements:

Secondary vocational school degree
Significant experience in rotating machinery and in the maintenance and mechanical and dimensional inspection sector
Knowledge of safety and environmental matters and skills in handling and metrology
Basic knowledge of English language; Fluent in Croatian
Able to work independently
Role involving travelling: high level of availability in the context of frequent short- and medium-term travel, including at weekends and on public holidays in the region
