Tasks
As Deputy Commercial Group Manager, you are responsible for an accurate commercial project execution and for handling of defined commercial agendas of our water technology group in SEE (Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo..)
- Close cooperation with the Commercial Group Manager, interface to commercial project managers and commercial staff in SEE region
- Continuous exchange of information and consultation with the Commercial Group Manager in all essential commercial tasks and challenges
- Strong collaboration with project managers, commercial project managers and site commercials regarding financial settlement of suppliers and subcontractors
- Support to the Technical Group Manager with local client contacts
- Active cost control of all relevant cost centers
- Involvement in preparation of the commercial and legal contract terms with clients, consortium partners and subcontractors
- Cost accounting: annual, monthly and quarterly financial closing, check-up of monthly accruals in cooperation with the Commercial Group Manager
- Guarantee management of debtors and creditors, regularly Cash Flow Management, handling of insurance matters in consultation with the Commercial Group Manager
- Support to Commercial Group Manager with personnel agendas and international staffing issues (HR)
- Support to project teams on the construction sites (regularly site visits)
- Current collaboration and coordination with internal supporting units and centralized local accounting teams
- Coordination and consultation with local tax advisors, lawyers,certified accountants and financial institutions
Requirements
- Completed university education in business administration (focus on finance/accounting/controlling etc.)
- Experience in commercial project execution of construction and/or plant construction projects based on Yellow FIDIC book
- Experience and Knowledge in Cost Accounting and Financial Accounting/Balancing
- Knowledge of the Croatian and regional tax legislation is an advantage
- Very good user knowledge and understanding of IT applications is essential
- Knowledge of AS4U and SUN is an advantage
- Experience in leadership is desirable
- English fluent (German is not necessary but an advantage)
- Strong communicative personality
- Intercultural competence
- Independent, dedicated and trustful way of working
- Willingness to travel frequently
