Commercial Project Manager (m/f)

Tasks

Financial responsibility for project (control of the incoming invoices, proper booking and payment terms, support to Technical project Manager in cost control)
Operation of defined accounting procedures (proper processing of the incoming invoices, cost allocation in coordination with Project Controlling)
Monitors compliance with company procedures and generally accepted accounting principles (to ensure that all the commercial activities are in accordance to company rules and procedures)
Issues timely and complete financial statements (drafting and issuance of the outgoing invoices, internal invoices etc..)
Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
Maintaining cash receipts and payments (for the site cash box if needed)
Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations and identify uncertainties
Reviewing project target costs and actual costs during the lifecycle of the project (in close cooperation with PM and Controlling)
Assures compliance with state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws
Ensure the compliance with legal requirements for VAT
Other duties assigned by Group Management
Reporting to Commercial Group Manager

Requirements

Completed education in business / economic
Good knowledge of accounting and computer systems
A minimum 5 years of progressive experience, international background advantageous
Fluently English (spoken and written)
Target oriented and flexible
Strong communication skills and capacity for teamwork
Strong ability to achieve results under pressure
Hardworking person
