Location: The role can be located in Belgrade (Serbia) or in Zagreb (Croatia).
About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to Head of Cluster HR Southern Europe as a Cluster Human Resources Business Partner/ Country HR Head you will act as the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for the business leaders across the Southern Europe Cluster, as well as for the Country/MCO Chair/Council, contributing to the achievement of the Cluster business and people-related road maps, whilst ensuring legal compliance and alignment with Sanofi Global Business and Human Capital strategies.

Key responsibilities
As Cluster HRBP:
- Translate business units needs across the Cluster into HR priorities, contribute to the Cluster business and Human Capital road maps;
- Advise business leaders on people-related issues, applying HR knowledge, skills and practices, assessing and alerting on the risks and implications at the local level across the Cluster;
- Performance and Compensation Management: Lead performance and compensation cycle for business units across the Cluster. Coach and support business leaders accordingly to advance individual performance and to ensure alignment with global process guidelines;
- Support and advise business leaders in C&B decisions to attract, engage and retain employees, ensuring affordability and compliance with global policies and local legal regulations;
- Talent Management. Learning & Development (L&D): Drive talent management process for Business unites across the Cluster. Coach & support Business Leaders in talent identification, planning and development. Promote talent exchange and visibility across Cluster level. Partner with business leaders to develop effective and diverse short- and long-term succession planning for key positions, to ensure retention and development of talents. Together with business leaders identify individual and collective L&D needs and develop suitable solutions, align talent needs with learning programs;
- Build internal and external network, ensure effective collaboration at different levels of organization.
- Represent HR in MCO/Country Council, People and Talent Committees (if any), Contribute to MCO/Country business and people-related agendas, act as Human Resources Business Partner for MCO/Country Chair, supporting functions which report into the MCO/Country Chair;
- Advise other stakeholders on local labor regulation and practices;
- Ensure consistent and fair implementation of the C&B policies and procedures in the country. Manage HR budget locally. Partner with CoE and other Cluster HRBPs in getting knowledge of market benchmark and practices.
About You
Essential requirements:
- Master’s degree in any related field;
- 5 years’ experience in Human Resources and 2 years’ experience in the same role;
- English language fluent;
- Serbian/Croatian language fluent;
- Demonstrate advisory capabilities with ability to influence and facilitate change;
- Ability to facilitate and build relationships, adapting communication style to meet the needs of the business while being result-driven;
- High business acumen, customer focus, priority setting;
- Ability to translate business requirements into workable/ actionable solutions;
- Strong teamwork and collaboration.
- Experience in pharma industry.
