At the moment we are recruiting motivated Bar Waiter, for our partner hotel, luxury mountain resort in Austria, with starting date in June – July 2023, seasonal or permanent position.

Bar Waiter (m/f) for a luxury resort in Austria

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Hospitality and Catering or certification of Bartending as a strong plus
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same position, in a luxury hotel or high-quality restaurant
Good German and English language skills
Excellent eye for attention to details
Knowledge in assisting to run the bar section
Ability to work in variable shift pattern
Able to work effectively as part of an international team
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask
Effective communication and presentation skills
Good knowledge of wines, champagnes and beers
High level of personal appearance
Excellent customer service skills
EU citizen

Tasks:

Greet and escort customers to their tables
Ensure that assigned station is properly cleaned and set-up at the beginning and at the end of the service
Be fully aware of the bar and lounge menu along with their prices
Take beverage orders and serve them to guests on a timely manner
Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards
Comply with the sequence of service for beverage
Ensure that the bar and lounge stations are fully stocked, clean and tidy at all times.
Replenish guests’ beverages and up-sell all promotion available in the outlet
Deliver checks and collect bill payments
Provide excellent customer service to guests
