Opis radnog mjesta: AR Accountant (ideally with German or French)

Purpose of Role:
Provide support to SSC Centre in Prague by processing cash payments to customer accounts. The role includes providing support to local finance entities that are serviced by the SSC in reviewing, researching, validating and clearing customer deductions including returns, markdowns, trade spend, customer fines, shortages etc. for all types of incoming customer payment receipts.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage cash applications of wire payments.
• Manage cash application of cheque, Letter of Credit and Promissory notes payments.
• Manage deductions, including monitoring customer deductions, matching with appropriate credit notes, and managing deduction discrepancies.
• Conduct clearing of unallocated payments, management of pro-forma payments allocation and additional customer accounts clearing on weekly basis.
• Active cooperation with local finance sales team regarding new and existing debit notes.
• Engage in monthly debtors overview.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives.
• Actively participate in training programs.
• Assist in the backup tasks processing when required.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule if required.
• Maintenance of relationship with external and internal customers.
• Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal rules and regulations and provide support for internal and external audits as needed.
• Partake in local finance transfer 2 to Prague BSG transition project in relation to identified AR activities
• Other tasks related to the role required by your team leader and Jarden BSG management.

Job Description
• Minimum of 1 year cash application experience.
• Knowledge of the AR processes.
• Fluent English, German and French is an advantage
• Knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles.
• Degree or diploma in finance/accounting is advantage.
• Commitment to high standard customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with SAP is advantage.
• Team player.
