Our Tax Reporting and Strategy team is looking for an Accountant with the knowledge of all bookkeeping processes and 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in companies with international transactions including relevant knowledge, skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accounting books and records for clients in accordance with the requirements set out by the Croatian Accounting Act, International Financial Reporting Standards, Croatian Financial Reporting Standards and clients’ accounting policies;
Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting;
Participate in the posting, balancing and reconciliation of the general ledger and analytical accounts;
Participate actively in the Corporate Income Tax and Value Added Tax compliance processes for clients;
Ensure the clients have met all other compliance obligations they may have;
Communicate with the tax and other government authorities.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience in accountancy and taxation a reputable international and/or local company (1-2 years of which as senior accountant), working experience in accounting outsourcing firms will be considered a significant advantage);
Working knowledge of English (both written and spoken, upper-intermediate level will be considered an advantage);
Computer skills ( MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, experience in Microsoft NAV will be considered as an advantage)etc.;
Strong organizational, multitasking and time-management skills;
Ability to work in a team and work quickly;
Good communication (written and oral);
A sense of responsibility.
