Our client is MacGREGOR from Stockholm, Sweden and is specialized in providing its own designed container securing equipment throughout the world. The company is commencing limited sea trails with APMM vessel "SINE MAERSK* for testing the twistlocks in one dedicated hatch cover (bay test). The vessel is trading between US (West coast California) and Taiwan and they shall monitor the loading and discharge operation, educate local stevedores (terminal managers) in all the different terminals and the crew members (Master) onboard. For this assignment MacGREGOR is looking for:
Technician/Engineer or Marine/Naval Engineer (2 positions)
Your responsibilities:
- To overlook the performance of MacGREGOR"s new product, the C8A, during loading and discharging operation cargo containers from "SINE MAERSK" in different container terminals in Asia and in North America (US west coast and Taiwan/China/Korea/Japan).
- Download photo/pictures to the laptop and instantly communicate information of test results via internet
- Travel between the different ports to meet "SINE MAERSK" in next port
- Educate/inform stevedores and make handling instruction available about C8A before •SINE MAERSK* arrives.

- Desirable University Degree in Marine/Naval Technical Education or Mechanical Education
- Fluent in English
- Some maritime experience
- No travelling and passport restrictions
- Nice manner and behavior
- Advanced Computer Skills

The potential candidate must prove good interpersonal as well as communication skills since you need to conduct instructions and mentoring to groups and individuals from international backgrounds. You should be able to use logic and reasoning when identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
