Job Description:
As a Systems Administrator, you will ensure the Operational IT infrastructure is maintained at the highest standards. You will work with IT colleagues and vendors on the development and revision of the IT system support strategies in order to ensure that the systems are up and running 100% of the time. This includes monitoring various systems and operations, assisting users and technicians with applications and ensuring system security and backup are processed. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to technicians on more complex problems and issues and to be able to audit and develop reports after outages with improvement action plans to eliminate further outages.
This work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Site Manager or other departmental management.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Responsibilities:
• Network infrastructure support
• Server administration, upgrades and preventative maintenance
• Responsible for backups and data security
• Hardware troubleshooting, upgrade and complete build
• Software troubleshooting, installation, maintenance for all business applications
• System Maintenance
• Provide technical training support/mentoring to Senior Technician positions
• May be required to supplement Senior Technician position as needed
Required Experience and Skills:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field
• CCNA Certification, working towards CCNP
• Experience working with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows Servers
• Would like to see Microsoft certifications relating to the O/S and Server management
• Would like to see experience maintaining databases
