Job Description
You'll be responsible for the enterprise e-commerce and ERP platform. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Identifies methods, solutions to provide a reliable, scalable, secure and highly available linux system environment.
Job Responsibilities
Configure and maintain servers and networks.
Configure and maintain software components, i.e., operating systems, web servers, application execution environments.
Configure and maintain system monitoring, network security, synchronization and backups.
Monitor production systems, handle alerts and troubleshoot problems.
Participate in the team’s 24x7 on‑call rotation.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science with network engineering or information systems emphasis, or related fields.
3+ years of experience working with Linux systems and network technologies.
Experience in server architectures, storage architectures, virtualization, monitoring tools, backup/restore, performance tuning/capacity planning, documentation, server management
Must have experience with linux server administration including RedHat/CentOS linux platform, mySQL database, backup/restore, performance tuning, DNS, TCP/IP, VMWare, clustering, SLB, firewalls etc.
Working knowledge of database management, security and data access technologies
Ability to manage servers and direct contract remote-hands personnel remotely and with a high-degree of precision.
