Strong “process mind” to implement structure and procedures (managing working hours, food cost, menu engineering, purchasing controls…).
Excellent knowledge of the hotel kitchen operations as well as advanced culinary knowledge.
Excellent management skills. Experience in managing teams.
Knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Croatian language as well as all other languages are considered to be an advantage
Cultural awareness and ability to adapt to the local culture and market.
3 years of experience on the same or similar position, preferably within an international environment, in a 4 or 5 star property. Resort experience is considered an advantage

Your main responsibilities will be leading a team of associates, being our Executive Chef’s right hand, improving and/or maintaining quality of food and daily planning of Kitchen operation. Active role in creating fun menus (what is seen is not good enough :) ) and F+B packages as well as other marketing activities is expected in this role. Assisting in preparing and coordinating all departmental tasks with the present Executive Chef, will also be among your responsibilities.
CreAtivitY, Health and Safety Procedures (inc. HACCP) and brand standards will be some of your regular duties.
