Europol is the European law enforcement agency. Europol supports law enforcement authorities in Europe and throughout the world in preventing and combating serious international crime and terrorism. The successful candidate will work in a team of enterprise architects, each one predominantly focused in the specific architecture domain area for which they are most competent, but all closely cooperating as a team, coordinated by a Senior Specialist in the Architecture Team, who reports to the Head of ICT Business Area.
The main responsibilities may include:
• Interact with Europol business units in order to understand and document the business strategy and context, business goals and capabilities, and business requirements, as well as regulatory constraints and other relevant functional requirements;
• Identify and analyze the impact on business processes and roles of ICT initiatives and projects;
• Assist the business units of Europol in the early stages of the elaboration of new initiatives requiring IT solutions, assisting in the development of the business case and of the solution concept;
• Perform any other related tasks as requested by the line manager.

We are looking for ICT Senior Specialists from all EU Member States, who have:
• Professional experience in standard architecture frameworks, in Architecture Modelling
• Knowledge of the concepts, methods, techniques, and representative products in the following domain areas: Collaboration and knowledge management; Case management systems; Electronic messaging systems; Information Life-cycle Management; Information analysis; Business Intelligence; Identity and Access Management.
Monthly salary: approx. EUR 5000 (net without allowance) and approx. EUR 7000 (net with allowances – if applicable) (This indicative salary calculation took into account the expatriation, household and 1 dependent child allowance.)
In addition, if applicable, allowances such as expatriation allowance, household allowance, dependent child allowance and education may be granted. Europol also offers a comprehensive welfare package.
