Leading international law firm is seeking a partner or senior lawyer to join their office in Zagreb.

Our client, is an international law firm advising major international companies and financial institutions on a wide range of cross-border transactions.
The firm’s Zagreb office is comprised of a dynamic and committed team where the command of foreign languages, international experience and ongoing professional training are natural for them. The objective of our client is to continue to build one of the leading Croatian legal practices in the areas of corporate, banking and finance, real property and dispute resolution. Therefore, they are currently seeking a Senior Lawyer/Partner for the Zagreb office to compliment the existing team which is actively serving a roster of both domestic and multi-national clients. It is possible for the Partner to bring in a team if they have one. In this context, we are looking for a team which has worked together for some time and would like to make a move together and with enough business to justify the more sizable group hire.
As for requirements: You should have at least 7 – 12 years of experience with an international law firm and have a track record in Corporate although other practice areas of accomplishment would be of interest as well. You will be qualified in Croatia, with fluency in English being a requirement and knowledge of German language would be a plus.
You should have a strong entrepreneurial attitude, comprehensive interpersonal and management skills and well developed client development skills. Portable business is essential for this role, or the ability to demonstrate you can build your following quickly and can master client relationships.
