For the division Group IT of the Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank International AG, the international operating financial group in South-East Europe, Austria and Italy.
Your major tasks:
- Design and configure complex databases with replication and multi-nodes, develop comprehensive DB implementation/upgrade plans, translate logical to physical design, create DB objects, build backup/recovery/load scripts, support development thru production
- Partner with Business Solutions teams on database usage, PL/SQL best practices and application tuning
- Execute all DB builds, configuration, load and security
- Administer, maintain, develop, document and implement policies and procedures to ensure the availability and integrity of all Oracle databases
- Assist with strategic direction setting and decision making relating to Oracle Database technology

- Completed education in Information Science (Computer Science, Business Computer Science)
- Several years of experience in administration of an Oracle Database
- Oracle RDBMS Tuning Experience
- Installation and configuration of Oracle Database Products
- Excellent knowledge of English - spoken and written form
- Willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills, team player quality
- Personal responsibility and flexibility
- Willingness to travel
- Additional Business Intelligence and Microsoft SQL Server know-how would be an advantage
- Experience in data architecture (data warehouse / OLAP) and ETL procedures
- Administration of a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition
Required information pursuant to section 9 of the Austrian Equal Treatment Act [GleichbehandlungsG]: Minimum gross remuneration as per collective agreement from EUR 33,000 p.a. upwards - overpayment depending on qualifications and professional experience
