Rimac Automobili is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for de-velopment of new mechanical components such as chassis and suspension elements, brackets and other mechanical parts.

Your role:
Rimac Automobili is looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the development of new mechanical components and complete vehicle systems and mechanisms. We are looking for engineers that are familiar with the process of developing complex systems from the idea to the finished product. A hands-on approach and a very good understanding of technological processes involved in the development and production of mechanical systems is mandatory. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for cars, technology and engineering with a background of mechanical engineering education and additional projects within the industry. As a fast-moving company, we adopt new techniques and technologies on a regular basis so you must be ready for constant learning and embracing new technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Development of complete vehicle systems and mechanisms
• Design of new mechanical components (suspension, chassis parts, brackets...)
• Oversight of fabrication and assembly of prototype components
• Managing product development from ideas to prototypes to production-runs
• Technical drawings and production documentation
• Communication with co-workers, vendors and customers
• Structural analysis
• Testing and analysis of produced components

• Advanced understanding of parts tolerances
• Experience with FEM analysis
• Fluent English spoken and written
• Team spirit
Desirable:
• Experience with Solid Works CAD software
• Familiarity with surface modeling
• Experience with project management and product development process
• Familiarity with fluid dynamics and CFD
• Experience in composite structures development
• Familiarity with high voltage battery systems
• Experience in automotive industry
