Since 1977 Otis is present with its products on the Croatian market with its headquarter in Zagreb and branch offices in most of the larger cities.
To support the team in the headquarter in Zagreb we are looking for a
Human Resources/Environment Health & Safety Manager
Reporting directly to the Managing Director this position has two main areas of responsibility:
Human Resources and Environment Health & Safety.
Tasks:
From an HR point of view the position holder will be responsible for the entire HR Management of Otis Croatia, including recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR and labour administration and all personnel related other issues.
From an Environment Health & Safety point of view the position holder will be responsible for ensuring full maintenance of all management systems for health, safety and environment, identification of risks and taking appropriate action, ensuring legal compliance, working with the area team in accident management and audits, create policies and devise steps to achieve the company targets. Training of subcontractors and all members of OTIS dizala d.o.o. in EH&S matters and ensuring their compliance with internal standards and enforceable laws, performance of weekly audits.
O zaposleniku
- University or college degree from a well-known institution, preferably in environment health and safety, mechanical, civil engineering or similar;
- Experience in EH&S and Human Resources with strong generalist and proven business-partner capabilities is an advantage
- Familiarity with labour legislations;
- Good knowledge of and experience in the construction industry is a definite advantage;
- Ability to control processes;
- Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written);
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills at all levels
- Dynamics, open-mindedness, ambition and result-orientation
- Ability to influence and work through others in the organization;
