For our Client, a leading company in its industry, we are looking for:
HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIROMENTAL ENGINEER (m/f)
– Rijeka –
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Self-motivated to lead and to support problem solving and to focus on safety processes.
• Ability to be multifunctional in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment.
• Lead by developing action plans and conducting follow-up audits to address relevant HSE plant issues and adherence to applicable policies and procedures, including improvement and compliance work.
• Partner with all functional area management to develop, interpret, and monitor fair and consistent application of company policies, processes, and training procedures.
• Advice employees and management in solving problems that impact the health and safety of the workplace.
• Promote overall employee satisfaction through effective communication, performance review processes, and recognition practices
• Provide support to managers on right environment evaluations, including safety audits and ergonomic conditions.
• Develop and implement health, safety & environmental along with measures of effectiveness
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS Degree in Engineering, or a related field with three to seven years of professional experience.
• Knowledge of Croatian legislative requirements for Health, Safety & Environmental processes.
• Knowledge & understanding of safety & environmental management systems (i.e. QS)
• Solid working knowledge of hazard assessments, emergency response planning and the ability to develop & deliver effective training.
• Working knowledge of incident investigation processes and requirements.
• Knowledge of principles of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and behavioral based safety strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability.
• Speaking languages preferred: Croatian-Italian and/or English.
