Financial Controller (m/f) – full-time
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will work to produce high standard management accounts including P&L preparation and balance sheet reconciliations in line with the company policies and reporting standards. This role will be involved in key finance tasks, e.g. Annual budgets, external Audits, stock checks as well as the day to day management of the finance duties at the DS Smith site.
Key Tasks/Responsibilities of the Financial Controller position:
– Group reporting
– Corporate and Division Liaison
– Profit and Loss preparation
– Balance Sheet reconciliations
– Accounts Payable Liaison
– Accounts Receivable Liaison
– General Ledger review
– Transaction analysis
– Cost Centre reporting
– Audit data preparation
– Site Compliance with Corporate Governance

– Minimum five years accounting experience within manufacturing sector
– PC literate preferably Microsoft packages
– Experience of SAP
– Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines.
