Other media is an independent web design and development agency with an exciting and diverse portfolio of clients. In response to new work we are looking for a Drupal developer to join our team.

Core tasks
As Drupal developer, you will be able to carry out a wide range of development tasks including:

• Site configuration: the ability to analyse requirements and select appropriate modules;
• Custom modules: you will be comfortable with custom coding and using Drupal APIs;
• Custom themes: you will be comfortable with html/css and the Drupal theme layer.

Project delivery
You will be able to work as part of project teams, including:

• Communicating well within project teams;
• Being aware of client expectations and the wider business context;
• Helping to ensure that Drupal builds are delivered within agreed timescales.

Team development
You will be able to assist with our development processes:

• Helping to improve the way we use current tools (git, drush, varnish, features, CI, bamboo, Jira);
• Exploring new tools;
• Collaborating on best practice with other development teams at the agency (Mobile, Systems admin, Java, Interface, Magento, Wordpress)

Programming skills
You will also:

• Have a drive to write well-written code; adhering to coding standards and best practices;
• Be able to troubleshoot and investigate complex issues but also seek help where appropriate;
• Show good attention to detail (testing own work, clarifying requirements, etc.)
