is seeking to recruit an
Assistant to the Resident Twinning Advisor - RTA

Duration: 12 months, Indicative start date: May / June
Place of work: Agency for the Audit of European Union Programmes Implementation System
Gross monthly salary: depending on education, experience and skills up to EUR 1.800 fixed-term contract (40 hours per week).

The Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the abovementioned European Union funded Twinning project.
The Resident Twinning Advisor Assistant will be responsible for providing technical translation and interpretation services, logistical/administrative and organizational support to the RTA and the project. Working outside standard office hours can be part of the job.

Tasks of the RTA Assistant:
- Assisting to the RTA with project co-ordination and management;
- Acting as interpreter and translator (Croatian to English and English to Croatian) on any issues relevant to the project;
- Assisting the RTA in organization of expert missions, trainings, seminars, workshops, training on the job of audit teams, steering committee meetings and other project events
- Drafting and editing minutes of meetings, assisting the RTA in drafting and editing monthly, quarterly and final project reports and any other relevant documents;
- Preparing draft content reports and documents;
- Arrangement of travel, booking accommodation, study visits, reception and active host to foreign experts;
- Office management, budget control, monitoring telephone and general correspondence.

Znanja i kvalifikacije:
Requirements for the candidates:
- University degree in Economics, Law, Languages degree or adequate;
- Good project management skills (accuracy, strong organizational capabilities, ability to plan timetables, meet deadlines, monitor progress, flexibility and good social skills);
- Excellent command of spoken and written English language, knowledge of Dutch would be an asset
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet;
- Being able to take initiatives and work independently;
- Willingness to work outside office hours;
- Experience in EU or other internationally funded projects (especially as RTA assistant in a former Twinning project) would be an asset;
- Drivers licence;
- The RTA assistant may not have or recently (past six months) have had any contractual relation with the beneficiary administration.

Short listed candidates only will be invited to attend an interview. Interviews are scheduled to be held in the last week of March 2012 (before March 28th) in Zagreb, Koturaška 53/I. Prior to the interview the candidates will be asked to translate a section of an official document manually, without computer aid for approximately 15 minutes.
