Danfoss is hiring! Our new Application Engineer in the Drives Segment is an expert in the Marine business and key system integrators as well as panel builders in successful applications of Danfoss’ technology. He/she will help in project preparation phase as well as support installations and start-ups as supervisor. Application Engineer will work together with our existing Sales Engineers focused on marine business locally in Croatia as well as support other demanding applications in the Adriatic region as a key expert of our local team.
Danfoss Drives is 100% focused on developing, manufacturing and supplying AC drives. Our portfolio of high-quality, application-optimized VACON® and VLT® products maximizes process performance, saves the most energy and minimizes emissions.

You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to our Sales team and external stakeholders in your region
- Processing and developing structured information about ongoing projects that involve drives in Marine and Offshore business
- On-site commissioning and testing
- Implement new technologies and share knowledge to the market with close contact to Danfoss Drives global marine experts
- Consult with customers to create custom-fit solutions and act as technical advisor
- Support our sales teams in market development proposals and branding strategies
- Developing relevant technical documentation and literature
- Plan and implement trainings and coaching for our customers and Sales Teams
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A degree in electrical engineering
- At least 2 years’ experience in relevant industry and products
- Experience in marine/shipyard business is a big advantage, as is experience in drives and automation
- Very good English skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a growing business environment and matrix organization
- Effective communication skills across teams and borders
- Travel mobility at the national and regional level (less than 10% off annual working time)
